Meet Lily Cook, PA-C
Lily Cook, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant who recently joined Urogynecology of Oklahoma. She was born and raised in Texas. She moved to Oklahoma after getting accepted into Oklahoma City University’s PA program. She graduated with honors from OCU. For her PA preceptorship, Lily followed Dr. Allen for a month. That is when she learned more than she ever thought she would. She began to love the specialty of urogynecology. She continues to learn something new every day. In her free time, Lily loves spending quality time with her fiancé Maguire, family and friends. She enjoys a good nap and watching movies. “I cannot wait to continue to learn and grow from Dr. Allen and Dr. Stearman. I am ready to meet all my patients with open arms! I hope to be a safe space and foster a supportive environment for my patients!”
Meet Macara Jacobs, PA-C
Hi, I’m Macara, a board-certified Physician Assistant at Urogynecology of Oklahoma. After completing my undergraduate degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, I went on to achieve my Physician Assistant degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. (Boomer!)
For nearly 20 years, I have devoted my profession to women’s health. I began practicing in the field of gynecology and obstetrics and later transitioned into the sub-specialty of urogynecology. Along the way, it was evident I’d found my true passion. I believe that healthcare is a partnership, and I strive to create an environment where patients feel heard, respected, and are actively involved in their care. Being able to support women through all stages of their lives and helping them feel confident, comfortable, and empowered in their healthcare has given me such a rewarding career. Outside of work, I’m married to my husband, Shawn, and we have two young-adult boys. Some of my hobbies include exploring the outdoors, attending concerts of all different genres, traveling the world, and watching sports games – especially my son’s soccer games. Fun fact about me – I also love trying new-to-me restaurants wherever I may be, and try not to eat at the same restaurant twice.
I look forward to meeting you and being part of your healthcare journey here at Urogynecology of Oklahoma.
